  5. Went to Dentons trotline sat night. Waited in line 20 min. No cole slawat the time, no stuffed crab, no catfish steaks, worst fried chicken, scarps of catfish passed off as filets. Dessert bar sraps for cobbler and no cinn rolls. Womens bathroom only one stall working, the other out of order. Pam should go there on a busy night. They to make a decision to operate a resturant as professionals and not as a hobby, or run a night club. Truely a waswt of my time and hard earned money. Will never suggest this place to anyone or go by Pam's word on any resturant she recomends.

  6. My husband and I went to Denton's and we really liked the food, we didn't mind waiting in line the 20 minutes. The only things that we didn't like was that if you wanted to go back for 2nd's you had to go back to the end of the line and wait another 20 minutes or so, and they only had the one lane and you had to reach over all the food to the back side and it is a little hard to reach.

  7. Hi John, hate that you had an unfortunate experience. I happen to enjoy Denton's Trotline and would never recommend a restaurant I don't like. I hope you will give the Denton's another chance - they are super nice people and perhaps you got in on the tale end of service that night. In any case, I believe the Denton's take great pride in their family-owned, community-involved establishment and would love the opportunity to square it up with you.
Thanks for taking time to leave a note, even if you don't agree with me. :)

  8. Hi Sheila and Darren - thanks for taking time to leave a note. Glad you enjoyed your food experience at Denton's. The long lines might have been attributed to a busy night coupled with everybody seeing that good-lookin' catfish on tv. LOL. The Denton's are super nice folks... and I'll definitely begoing back and I'm not normally even a buffet fan.

  9. Not a bad place to eat fish or any fried foods. I still like Dorey's buffett in Leola 10 times better. If it had a bigger buffett and more selections I would go again. Still not a bad place. I would give it three and a half stars.
